Daily and Weekly
Sweep or dust-mop to keep grit off the surface — grit is what dulls the topcoat over time. A soft push broom or microfiber mop is enough.
Deep Cleaning
Damp mop with warm water and a mild pH-neutral floor cleaner. Skip vinegar, ammonia, citrus solvents, and any 'shine restorer' — they can degrade the topcoat.
Spills
Wipe oil, coolant, brake fluid, and battery acid off promptly. The coating handles brief exposure fine; extended contact can stain or slowly attack the topcoat.
Tire Marks and Rubber Streaks
Warm water and a stiff nylon-brush scrub lifts most tire marks. For stubborn streaks, a citrus-free degreaser or a Magic Eraser used lightly is safe.
What to Avoid
- Steel wool or wire brushes (scratch the topcoat)
- Undiluted degreasers left on the surface
- Rubber-backed floor mats (can trap moisture and stain)
- Studded tires or metal-cleated boots
