Weekly
- Dust mop or soft-broom the floor to remove grit
- Wipe fresh spills — oil, coolant, or food — before they set
Monthly
- Damp mop with mild neutral-pH cleaner
- Inspect high-traffic areas and lift bases for wear
- Check garage door threshold seal for leaks
Yearly
- Deep clean with an auto-scrubber or stiff bristle
- Inspect topcoat for scratches or gloss loss
- Consider a re-topcoat every 5-7 years for high-use floors
Products to Avoid
Skip acid cleaners, ammonia, and citrus solvents on epoxy — they can dull the finish. Skip pressure washing at over 1500 psi close-range; it can lift topcoat at edges. Salt residue from winter tires should be rinsed off, not left to sit.
