What Resurfacing Actually Covers
Resurfacing combines mechanical prep, structural crack and pit repair, and a resin coating installed at appropriate thickness. It's the alternative to tearing out and re-pouring the slab.
When Resurfacing Is the Right Call
- Cracks, pitting, and pop-outs but the slab is still structurally sound
- Failed or peeling previous coatings
- Oil-saturated or badly stained concrete
- Rough broom-finish slabs that catch dirt
When to Replace Instead
Major heaving, offset cracks over 1/2 inch, or crumbling concrete usually mean the slab needs replacement — not a coating. We assess honestly at the estimate.
What the Restored Floor Looks Like
Depending on system, the finished floor looks like a brand-new decorative flake, solid-color, or metallic surface — the original damage is either repaired or visually hidden by the flake broadcast.
